Jesus said:
"Go out into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature."
Mark 16:15
Holy Mary, Mother of Creation, bless us that we may experience God as Love
in praise of all creatures, in love of all of creation. Amen.

Mission Statement of the
Franciscans of Mary the Theotokos
The Franciscans of Mary the Theotokos is an Independent Catholic Order not under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Church its Pope and/or Bishops and clergy.
The Franciscans of Mary the Theotokos reach out to catholics,
and in particular to women,
who feel alienated from or uncomfortable with the Roman Catholic Church:
Come Back and embrace your faith again!
We encourage catholics who have left the Church of Rome for whatever reason
to "come back" to their faith and to the catholic tradition
by attending Mass at inclusive catholic communities
that exclude no one
from reception of the Holy Sacraments.
We do not believe that any church should ever keep people from participating in all liturgical and sacramental celebrations of their faith.
We encourage people of all faiths to explore our catholic tradition.
The Franciscans of Mary the Theotokos seek to introduce
a Marian tradition based on the real Mary.
The woman of great courage, great faith and deep love, never submissive or passive.
Her "Yes" to God changed history and brought salvation to the world
when she gave birth to the Savior.
She is and can be a role model for all who want to follow Jesus.
As Franciscans, we are called to rebuild the universal catholic church as place
that welcomes everyone and excludes no one.
As Franciscans, we are called to care for the earth and all creatures.
To remember that
ALL LIFE IS SACRED,
not just human life.
The Franciscans of Mary the
Theotokos
is not affiliated with or under the jurisdiction of
any
particular Independent Catholic Community.
We encourage catholics to "come back" to their faith
wherever they most feel the welcoming presence of God.
We are here to provide information about inclusive catholic communities
in our area as well as throughout the United States.
